Competition Format Details
Standard Age-wise Mental Math Challenge (Mandatory)
- Standard Age wise Mental Math Challenge
- Question Format: Engage with Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
- Question Attempt: Attempt a total of 100
Duration as per Category:
- Challenger Category (6 to 8 years): One round of 10 minutes
- Master Category (9-11 years): One round of 12 minutes
- Grandmaster Category (12 years and above): One round of 12 minutes
Scoring System:
- Correct Answer: +10 points
- Incorrect Answer: -2 points
- Skipped Questions: No negative marking
Optional Competition Formats
Participants have the flexibility to select and engage in any one or all of the Optional Competition formats,.
OPTIONAL COMPETITION FORMAT 1: Zen Master Category
- A skill-based Mental Math challenge where age is no barrier.
- This event promises a thrilling experience, allowing a 6-year-old to compete against a 60-year-old in a battle of high skills and stakes.
- Question Format: Engage with Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
- Question Attempt: Attempt a total of 100

- Zen Master Category(Open for All Ages): One round of 12 minutes
Scoring:
- Correct Answer: +10 points
- Incorrect Answer: -2 points
- Skipped Questions: No negative marking
OPTIONAL COMPETITION FORMAT 2: Sprints
- The Sprint Category aims to encourage participants to enhance their skills in additions, subtractions, and multiplications through focused practice and spirited competition.
- It offers a competitive and challenging platform for participants to elevate their proficiency in these specific mental math areas.
- Participants will compete in their respective age categories.
Sprint 1: Additions and Subtractions Sprint

- 1-3 Minute Sprint: Engage in a fast-paced session with unlimited

Participant Guidelines and Terms
- Assigned Timeslots: All participants will receive specific timeslots according to their respective categories to report to the venue.
- Registration and Reporting: Participants are required to register and check in at the Welcome Desk at least 30 minutes before their assigned timeslot.
- Attire: All participants must be dressed in their school or training institute’s uniforms.
- Identification: All participants must carry age-proof documentation or a school ID card, which will be checked at the welcome desk.
- Device Usage: The competition rounds will be conducted on laptops/tablets provided by the organizers at the venue.
- Rough Work: Participants are allowed to use Pen and Paper for rough work during the competition.
- App Participation: Contestants must engage in the competition using their registered email ID on our Competition app “Arena by LiveMCL”. User IDs and password-change instructions will be sent to the registered email.
- Registration Accuracy: Ensure precise registration details as changes post-registration are not possible. Incorrect information may result in registration cancellation without fee refund.
- Multiple Registrations: While registering a second child, parents must use a different email ID.
- Dispute Resolution: The Live Math Competitions and League organizers hold the right to make final decisions and interpretations on any disputes or issues related to the competition.
- Force Majeure: In the case of a Force Majeure event leading to competition cancellation or rescheduling, organizers shall not be held liable.
- Terms and Conditions: Organizers retain the right to modify the competition’s terms and conditions at their discretion and without prior notice.
